Sound Healing and music in Care Homes
and in the Community
Sound and Song
I work in many care homes in Barnstaple, Bideford and South Molton using both music and sound healing for the benefit and enjoyment of the residents. I usually start with my Tibetan bowls, a bit of individual Sound Healing for everyone. I often play my flute for them, then encourage them to do some breathing and toning exercises, finishing with singing songs and playing percussion instruments together.
If you know a care home that may like this sort of workshop, do get in touch.
Community Based Workshops
At the moment I run two community based workshops. We do a bit of breath work and toning, then sing songs, new, old, accompanied, unaccompanied, play rhythm games etc. Aimed mainly at people with memory issues and their relatives or carers, but anyone welcome!
